1.     Describe Dave Spud in 3 words:

Witty, fun, comedy

2.     What is your role on the series?

I am a Line Producer, so I do lots of organising and overseeing

3.     What is the most ‘Spud’ thing to happen in your life?

Spud things happen to me all the time, THE most Spud thing would probably have to be having a metal detector as a child and believing it was going to make me rich. I spent so much time hunting but only ever found bottle caps and miscellaneous rubbish.

4.     Have you worked on similar projects?

I don’t think there are really similar projects out there!

5.     Where do you draw inspiration?

Is there some kind of Excel Olympics? That’s where I would draw my inspiration, I could spreadsheet for England.

6.     You worked on Little Princess a pre-school and Dave Spud (6-11), what are the major differences between the age groups?

Dave Spud is a lot more silly than Little Princess, but both series were enjoyable. Cloth Cat (link) in Cardiff helped us out with the animation and design so it was a different experience to not have the full team in house.

7.     Insiders scoop, something we should look out for in Dave Spud:

This has probably already said but we try and fit the party hedgehog in wherever we can.

8.    Have you always loved animation?

Yes, all I do is watch animation, I loved it as a child and I love it now.

9.    Who is your favourite character and why?

Gran because I am moody and curmudgeonly like her.
